RAMALLAH, April 8, 2017 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Saturday expressed his support for Sweden after the Friday terrorist attack that killed and injured several people.

Abbas sent a cable to the Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven stating Palestinian policy of confronting terrorism everywhere regardless of the perpetrators and wishing a speedy recovery for the victims of this act.

Four died and 10 were injured after a stolen truck rammed into pedestrians on a street in the center of the capital, Stockholm.

Swedish police later announced that it has arrested a man suspected of having link to the attack.
