RAMALLAH, April 6, 2017 (WAFA) – A Palestinian young man was shot and injured by Israeli soldiers after he reportedly rammed his car into the soldiers, killing one of them and injuring another, outside Ofra settlement to the east of Ramallah on Thursday morning.
Israeli sources said the man, identified as 22-year-old Malek Hamed from nearby Silwad village, rammed his car into the soldiers and killed one them and injured another, before other fellow soldiers opened fire and injured him.
The Ministry of Health said it is following up on the incident to obtain accurate information on the case of Hamed who was shot and injured.
WAFA correspondent said Hamed was handcuffed by the soldiers and was forced to sit down beneath an Israeli military vehicle, while access of medical teams and journalists to the scene was strictly denied.
