RAMALLAH, April 5, 2017 (WAFA) – Ramallah municipality Wednesday announced the launch of its annual spring festival, Nuwar Nisan, with a focus on children to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the first popular uprising (intifada), officials announced at a press conference.
Nuwar Nisan, Arabic for Blossoms of April, is going to be held on Thursday and Friday in the old town of Ramallah.
The festival, began in 1996, is going to feature folkloric dance, film screenings, theatrical performances, talk shows, scientific experiments, cooperative work, lectures and art galleries.
