JERUSALEM, April 1, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli police Saturday opened fire and killed a Palestinian in the Old City of Jerusalem after he allegedly stabbed Israelis, according to witnesses and police reports.
Israeli police said a Palestinian stabbed two Israelis and a policewoman in the Old City injuring them lightly before he was shot dead.
He was not immediately identified.
Police closed the gates to the Old City and prevented people from entering it.
This is the second time in one week Israeli police shoot dead Palestinians in the Old City after alleged stabbing attack.
The first was a 49-year-old mother shot dead at Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate.
