Israeli military break into Palestinian high school, terrorize students

NABLUS, March 29, 2017 (WAFA) – An Israeli army unit Wednesday broke into Burin secondary school, south of Nablus in the north of the West Bank, to arrest a student and ended up terrorizing the students, the school principal, Ibrahim Omran, said to WAFA.

He said heavily armed soldiers broke into the school during the fourth period, when the students were in their classrooms, claiming they were after a student who had thrown rocks at them.

Omran contacted the Palestinian coordinating office with Israel and asked for their immediate intervention to get the Israeli soldiers out of the school before a disaster occurs.

Following intense intervention, the army left the school without arresting anyone, he said.
