RAMALLAH, March 28, 2017 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah Tuesday briefed his guest, Slovakian President Andrej Kiska, on the latest developments in the region, particularly the Israeli occupation, its settlement expansion, land confiscation and Israeli control over Area C of the occupied West Bank while denying the Palestinians the right to take advantage of its natural resources.
Hamdallah discussed with Kiska mutual relations and how to improve them, particularly activating their joint ministerial committee established in 2015 as well as academic cooperation and exchange and tourism.
The prime minister thanked Slovakia for its support for Palestine and the appointment of a permanent representative in Palestine. He also stressed the importance of Slovakia’s support for negotiations to make Palestine a full partner with the European Union.
