RAMALLAH, January 12, 2017 (WAFA) - Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine decreased in 2016 by 0.22 per cent compared with 2015, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Thursday.
CPI decreased by 0.96 per cent in Jerusalem, 0.84 per cent in Gaza Strip, and by 0.08 per cent in the West Bank.
The change in CPI for 2016 was traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure major and sub groups compared with the previous year:
