Update: Israeli Forces Detain Palestinian, Summon Three Others from Jenin, Hebron

JENIN, August 20, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Saturday detained a Palestinian and summoned three others from Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, and al-Araqa village, west of Jenin, said an activist and locals.

Forces detained Sharif Yahya, 20, while he was tending his farmland, adjacent to the Israeli apartheid wall.

This came after Israeli troops stormed and ransacked several houses during a raid into Tura village, southwest of Jenin. No injuries or detentions were reported though.

Meanwhile, forces summoned three Palestinian minors during a raid into the Beit Ummar neighborhoods of Beit Zaata, al-Baten and al-Bayada.

Local popular committee spokesperson Mohammad Awad said Omar Awad, 16, Muhammad Abu Maria, 17, and Wasim Bahr, 17, were handed notices ordering them to appear before Israeli intelligence in the Gush Etzion detention and interrogation center.

Forces also stormed and ransacked several houses in Hebron city. One house owner was identified as Faisal Abu Senina.
