Six More Palestinians Detained in West Bank Overnight Raids

HEBRON, August 1, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained six more Palestinians during overnight raids into a number of West Bank districts, bringing the total to 29, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Forces detained three more Palestinians from the southern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Ahmad Tbeish from Dura town as well as Raad Tarwa and Mus‘ab Shalalda from Sa‘ir  town.

PPS said in the press release that Palestinians detained from Dura town were mostly handcuffed and held for several hours before being released.

Forces also detained Mustafa Ibrahim, 18, from the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem.

Another Palestinian, who remained unidentified, was handcuffed and detained from the northern West Bank district of Nablus.

Another Palestinian, identified as Taha Abu Khdeir, was detained from Jerusalem district.

This came as 23 other Palestinians were detained during overnight search and detention raids across the West Bank.
