HEBRON, July 20, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday detained 15 Palestinians, including a minors and three former detainees, and summoned two others during overnight raids across the West Bank, said security sources and Palestine Prisoner’s Society.
Three Palestinians were detained from Hebron, three others from Bethlehem, three others from Jerusalem, three others from Ramallah, another from Nablus and two others from Tulkarem.
In Hebron district, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town, southwest of Hebron, detaining 14-year-old Yusef Masalma.
They also raided Dura town, south of Hebron, detaining Muhammad Qazzaz, an undergraduate student, and Khaled al-Faqih.
This came as Israeli troops raided Hebron neighborhoods and As-Samu‘ town, south of Hebron, storming and ransacking several houses.
Some of the homeowners were identified as Ibrahim Qasrawi, Sameh Abu Sneineh, who is a former detainee, Munther Qawasmeh and Nasser Daghamin.
During the overnight raids across Hebron city, troops handed Qawasmeh a notice ordering him to appear before intelligence.
In Bethlehem district, forces raided Tuqu‘ town, east of Bethlehem, handcuffing and detaining three Palestinians and summoning another after storming and ransacking their houses.
The detainees were identified as Shadi al-‘Amur, 20, Saber al-‘Amur, 23, and Jum‘a Abu-Mufreh, 24.
During the raid, troops handed Akram Jebril, 36, a notice ordering him to appear before intelligence in the Gush Etzion detention and interrogation center.
In Jerusalem district, police detained Muhammad Amer Mahmoud, Muhammad Nasser Mahmoud and Abdullah Mustafa after storming and thoroughly searching their houses in a predawn raid into the Jerusalem town of al-Issawiya.
In Ramallah district, three Palestinians were interrogated for about an hour and then detained during a raid into Silwad town, east of Ramallah.
They were identified Abdul-Rahman Hamed, 34, Abdul-Rahim Hammad, 19, and Ibrahim Hamed, 32.
Both Abdul-Rahman and Abdul-Rahim are former detainees. Abdul-Rahman had been placed in Israeli detention for six years, while Abdul-Rahim had been released less than a month ago after serving three months in administrative detention.
In Nablus district, forces raided Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus city, detaining Hammad Ishteiwi.
In Tulkarem district, forces handcuffed and detained two Palestinians during separate raids into the southern neighborhood of Tulkarem city and Saida village, north of Tulkarem city.
The detainees were identified as Muayyad Jallad, 44, a former detainee who had been released in 2011 after being imprisoned for 18 months, and Laith al-Ashqar, 20.
