RAMALLAH, May 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Five Palestinians were injured on Saturday evening in a violent attack by Israeli colonists, backed by Israeli occupation forces, on the Mughayer Al-Deir community located near the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the five people sustained injuries as a result of severe beatings carried out by the colonists during the assault.
Meantime, Palestinian security sources told WAFA that groups of colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, stormed the community, fired live ammunition at residents, and physically assaulted them.
The attack comes amid a wave of escalating violence by Israeli colonists in the area. Local sources noted that all Palestinian families in Mughayer Al-Deir had begun evacuating the community two days ago due to repeated colonist assaults, which have taken place under the protection and cover of Israeli forces.
