BETHLEHEM, May 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were injured on Saturday evening when Israeli colonists attacked the Kisan wilderness area east of Bethlehem, south of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Ahmad Ghazal, secretary of the Fatah movement in Kisan, told WAFA that a group of colonists assaulted local homes, vandalized property, and threw stones at residents, resulting in multiple injuries, including bruises and wounds.
Ghazal explained that Israeli forces participated in the assault by firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters at residents, causing additional cases of suffocation due to gas inhalation.
He further reported that colonists blocked ambulances and medical teams from reaching the injured. They also slaughtered several sheep with knives, injured others by pelting them with stones, and smashed a number of vehicles.
