QALQILIA, June 16, 2016 (WAFA) – Six Palestinians dawn Thursday suffocated and another was detained as Israeli force raided Qalqilia city in the northern West Bank, said security sources and medics.
Israeli forces raided the northern West Bank city and detained Mu‘in al-Dalou, 23, after storming his family house.
Soldiers heavily fired tear gas canisters toward locals, causing at least seven to suffocate.
The Qalqilia Ambulance and Emergency Center said medics treated seven suffocation cases, including five members of a family. Among they family members were three children under the age of five years.
The center added they also provided medical treatment to a local Palestinian who got bruises after being severely beaten by soldiers.
