UNRWA: No one is safe in Gaza amid ongoing displacement and war

NEW YORK, July 26, 2025 (WAFA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported on Saturday that Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are being forced to flee once again due to orders issued by the Israeli military, with no safe destination available to them.

According to the agency, the humanitarian situation has deteriorated to the point where there are no secure areas left in Gaza. It explained that civilians, humanitarian workers, health professionals, and UN staff are all exposed to danger, underscoring the total collapse of safety across the territory.

In a post on X, UNRWA stated that Gaza's population have now lived through over 650 consecutive days of continuous attacks, widespread destruction, and deepening despair.

In a related development, medical sources in Gaza confirmed that six trucks carrying urgently needed medical supplies are scheduled to enter the Strip today. The delivery, facilitated by UNICEF, is expected to reach hospitals currently overwhelmed by the volume of injured and sick individuals.

The medical shipments do not include food aid, but the contents are described as critically important to sustaining life-saving healthcare services amid ongoing shortages and mounting casualties.
