RAMALLAH, November 11, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday shot
and injured 13 Palestinians using live rounds, and seriously injured another Palestinian,
during clashes that erupted in the Qalandia refugee camp south of the central
West Bank city of Ramallah.
Forces shot and injured a 16-year-old boy, who was identified as
Fares Abu al-‘Esh, before they detained him.
The Health Ministry stated that the injured Palestinians were
rushed into the Palestinian Medical Complex in Ramallah for immediate medical treatment.
The Ministry said the majority of Palestinians were shot in their
lower extremities during clashes and described their condition as moderate.
Clashes erupted when Israeli forces raided Qalandia refugee camp. They
broke and wrecked havoc into several houses after blasting the main doors.
WAFA learned that Israeli soldiers broke into a house that belongs
to a Palestinian who was identified as Muhammad ‘Abed-Rabbu. They handcuffed
his three sons after seizing their mobile phones.
Soldiers also broke into another house belonging to Husni Bzi and locked
him and his family members in a room and ordered that Husni’s son, Eyad, turn
himself to Israeli intelligence.
Local Palestinian youths pursued and hurled stones at soldiers
across the camp alleyways, forcing them to retreat via a road leading to a
nearby stone-cutting factory.
