TULKARM, June 21, 2025 (WAFA) — Several Palestinian civilians were injured on Saturday evening following assaults by Israeli occupation forces and colonists in the town of Ramin, east of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the town from the direction of the valley, pursued residents, detained several young men, and subjected them to field interrogations. Soldiers also physically assaulted a number of civilians during the incursion.
Troops raided local shops, forcing them to shut down, and broke into several homes, vandalizing property during extensive searches.
At the same time, Israeli colonists were widely present in the Ramin plain area, where they attacked Palestinian vehicles, assaulted residents with physical violence, and sprayed them with pepper spray. Several individuals suffered from suffocation and were treated at the scene by Palestinian Red Crescent medics.
This attack is part of a broader escalation in the northern and eastern parts of the Tulkarm governorate. For the second consecutive day, towns including Bal’a, Anabta, Attil, Deir al-Ghusun, Zeita, and al-Jaroushiya have faced continued aggression by Israeli forces.
