BETHLEHEM, August
13, 2015 (WAFA) - Israeli forces Thursday morning demolished two homes and
seized a shipping container in the eastern outskirts of Bethlehem, said a municipal
source.
Military
vehicles, escorting a bulldozer, broke into Harmala locality near Taqu village
to the southeast of the city, where they demolished a house under construction belonging
to Muhammad Dabash purportedly for unlicensed building, the mayor
Aiad Ali was said.
Forces also raided Taqu
village, where they escorted the bulldozer that demolished a house under
construction belonging to a local identified as Mousa
Salim Hasan.
Israeli soldiers also raided
Za‘tara town to the south east of the city, where they tore down a house’s
exterior wall belonging to Khalaf al-Himri.
They seized a shipping
container, which the owner used for selling construction materials, said
Za‘tara mayor Ahmad Rashid. He added that the owner, apparently al-Himri
himself, was asked to pay the costs of demolition.
