HEBRON, August 6, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli
forces early Thursday detained 12 Palestinians, including three minors, and
summoned two others from several West Bank districts, said security
sources and a local activist.
Israeli forces detained three
Palestinians from the southern West Bank city of Hebron. The detainees were
identified as Ahmad Abu ‘Aisha, 23, ‘Ali al-Julani, 23, and ‘Ubada
al-Hashlamun, 22.
Forces also raided Beit Ummar town to the
north of the city, where they proceeded to detain again two Palestinians
after breaking into and ransacking several houses, said Coordinator of the
Popular Committee against Wall and Settlement Muhammad ‘Awad.
The two detainees were identified by
‘Awad as Nadim Ikhlail, 24, and Muhammad As-Salibi, 21, both of whom had been
detained in Israeli prisons, bringing the total number of Palestinians who have
been detained from this town since the first of August to eight.
Meanwhile in East Jerusalem,
police detained a Palestinian minor from the old city neighborhood of Bab Hatta.
The detainee was identified as Ahmad Ash-Shawish.
Police also detained two other
Palestinian minors from Beit Hanina town to the north of the city. The
detainees were identified as Muhammad Baibars and Nour Kustero.
Meanwhile in Nablus district,
forces detained three Palestinians during predawn raids into several towns and
villages, according to Chairman of Palestine Prisoners’ Club (PPC) in
Nablus Ra’ed ‘Amer.
Forces raided Beit Wazan
village to the west of the city, where they detained a Palestinian identified
as Ahmad Abu ‘Aisha.
They also raided Bita town to
the southeast of the city, where they detained a Palestinian identified as
Muhammad Ma‘la.
Israeli soldiers raided ‘Asira
Ash-Shamaliya town to the north of the city, where they detained a Palestinian
identified as Rami Rawajba.
In the meantime in Jenin
district, forces raided Qabatiya town to the south of the city, where they
detained a Palestinian after storming and ransacking several houses, including
his family’s. The detainee was identified as Hussein Samadi, 27.
Forces also summoned two other
Palestinians during the predawn raid into the town.
‘Imad Kmail was handed a notice
to turn himself to Israeli intelligence in Salem detention and interrogation
center. His laptop was seized during the raid.
Another Palestinian identified
as Taher ‘Alawneh, 28, was given three hours to turn himself to intelligence.
Forces also broke and wrecked
havoc into several other houses. One homeowner was identified as Kamal Abu Zeid.
