RAMALLAH, August 5, 2015 (WAFA) – The overall quantity of Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine increased in June 2015 by 6.30% compared to the previous month, reaching 115.15, said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics Wednesday.
It reported that the increase was due to a rise in activity of manufacturing industry, which had a share of 80.56% from the total industry, by 8.46%.
The water and electricity supply formed a share of 14.85% of the total industry and increased by 1.17%. Meanwhile the mining and quarrying that had a share of 4.59% of the total industry, decreased by 6.79%.
