RAMALLAH, August 2, 2015 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is very hot with a further rise in temperature to become above its seasonal average by around 9 to 10 degrees Celsius and a weak chance of sporadic rain over different areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
The weather department issued a warning against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially in the peak day hours between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
A slight drop in temperature is expected on Monday, however, weather remains very hot and above the seasonal average by almost 6 to 7 degrees Celsius.
No significant change in temperature is expected on Tuesday.
Temperature is anticipated to drop on Wednesday, yet remaining above the seasonal average by almost 4 to 5 degrees Celsius.
Temperature continues to drop on Thursday, yet remaining about 3 to 4 degrees Celsius higher than the annual average.
