RAMALLAH, July 19, 2015 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday continues to be generally warm with temperatures remaining 4 to 5 degrees above the seasonal average at 31 Celsius in Ramallah and Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
As for wind activity, it is described as southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate, while sea waves remain low.
The heat wave is anticipated to persist through Monday and Tuesday with an expected rise in temperature by 5 to 6 degrees to become well above the seasonal average.
The department predicted temperatures to maintain its rise through Wednesday, becoming above the seasonal average by around 6 to 7 degrees Celsius reaching its highest this season.
