RAMALLAH, July 13, 2015 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic dailies focused in their Monday issue on Israel’s release of former hunger striking Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan, a resident of Jenin, on Sunday after reaching a deal with the Israeli authorities to end his strike in return for his release.

Three dailies printed photos of Khader Adnan as he was reunited with his mother and daughter. Both al-Quds and al-Hayat al-Jadida featured Adnan kissing his crying mother’s hand upon his arrival to his hometown in Jenin.

Israeli authorities Sunday released political prisoner Khader Adnan after he reached a deal with the latter to end his 55-day of hunger strike in return for his release. The Israeli authorities also pledged not to detain him again under administrative detention – without indictment or trial.

Al-Ayyam also focused in its main news story on Israel’s threats to demolish the ancient village of Susia, south of Hebron.

They said an Israeli army force and staff from the Civil Administration broke into the village of Susia on Sunday and notified local residents about Israel’s intention to demolish a number of homes in the village after the Islamic holiday of Eid el-Fitr.

The three dailies also reported that a video footage obtained by B’Tselem, an Israeli human rights group, showed that teenager Mohammad al- Kasabah, a Palestinian who was shot dead by an Israeli army officer near Qalandia refugee camp, posed no threat to the Israeli officer who fatally shot him from behind.

Al-Quds reported Netnyahu as holding Hamas responsible for the safety of the abducted Israelis.

The dailies said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked his cabinet ministers to vote against a bill proposed by right-wing Yisrael Beiteinu party, which calls for instituting death penalty of Palestinians convicted of murder of Israelis.

Al-Quds and al-Ayyam said Iran and six world powers were close to signing a historic nuclear deal that will bring sanctions relief in exchange for curbs on Tehran's atomic program.
