RAMALLAH, January 20, 2014 (WAFA) – Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper arrived in Ramallah Monday morning where he was received by President Mahmoud Abbas in an official ceremony.
Abbas and Harper started official talks after inspecting the honor guard and meeting delegations from both sides.
Harper brought with him a business delegation, who are going to meet with their Palestinian counterparts to discuss joint ventures and investments.
Canada is also going to pledge more than $60 million in support for the Palestinian private sector.
