AMMAN, April 26, 2026 (WAFA) – King Abdullah II of Jordan stressed the need to prevent any Israeli attempts to exploit regional developments to impose new realities in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

The remarks came during a meeting at Al-Husseiniya Palace with Kuwait's Foreign Minister, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in the presence of Crown Prince Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II.

The meeting also addressed the strong bilateral relations between Jordan and Kuwait, and ways to expand cooperation across various fields, in addition to emphasizing the importance of strengthening joint Arab efforts to sustain de-escalation in the region.
