RAMALLAH, April 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists uprooted olive trees on Sunday evening in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah.
Local sources told WAFA that colonists uprooted dozens of olive trees in the Rasm al-Dar area, northeast of the town.
Earlier in the day, colonists had cut down around 400 olive trees, more than 45 years old, in the town’s plain. The trees belonged to local Palestinian residents.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and colonists carried out a total of 1,819 attacks during March, reflecting a continued pattern of systematic violence targeting Palestinians, their land, and property.
The commission stated that Israeli forces were responsible for 1,322 of these attacks, while colonists carried out 497. The attacks were concentrated in the governorates of Hebron (321), Nablus (315), Ramallah and al-Bireh (292), and Jerusalem (203).
