JERUSALEM, April 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained several Palestinians overnight and into Monday during military raids in the town of al-Ram and Qalandiya refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli troops conducted a campaign of raids and house searches, resulting in arrests, primarily in Qalandiya camp, the town of al-Ram, and the surrounding areas of Jerusalem.

The forces also raided the UNRWA clinic inside the camp, breaking its external door, though details of the incident remain unclear.

The Governorate also reported that Israeli forces detained Rami al-Fakhoury and the recently released prisoners Majd and Ahmed Abu Gharbiya, both from the town of al-Ram.

Such detentions come amid escalating raids in Jerusalem, accompanied by widespread searches and assaults on residents.
