PARIS, July 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Paris expressed on Monday its concern over the acts of violence committed by Israeli colonists in the occupied West Bank.
“France expresses its deep concern over the violence that has taken place in the West Bank over the past several days” Pascal Confavreux, Spokesperson of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, posted on X.
He called for “calm and restraint” with the Israeli occupation authorities’ announcement that they were launching a major military aggression in the West Bank.
“At a time when ongoing settlement activity is exacerbating tensions, and with settler violence on the rise, France reaffirms its support for the two-state solution, the only option for ending the cycle of violence,” he concluded.
