Mustafa stressed the need to bring about a qualitative shift in the government’s working approach to enhance flexibility, sustainability and its ability to respond quickly to developments, while bringing services closer to citizens.

The prime minister added that the government will continue to pursue parallel tracks, including strengthening internal resilience, advancing the national struggle, building state institutions, and intensifying diplomatic efforts to secure further international recognition of the State of Palestine.
On the financial front, Mustafa said the proposed 2026 general budget includes a significant increase in allocations for emergency and rapid response measures, rising from about 40 million shekels to 516 million shekels, in a step aimed at enhancing the government’s readiness to deal with crises and emergencies while ensuring the continued provision of essential services.
