GAZA, August 14, 2026 (WAFA) — Three Palestinian fishermen were injured on Friday when Israeli naval boats and quadcopter drones opened fire at a fishing boat west of Gaza City.

The Fishermen's Committees Union in Gaza said Israeli naval boats fired machine guns toward the fishing boat, injuring three fishermen who were taken to hospital for medical treatment.

The incident comes amid continued attacks against Gaza's fishermen, threatening their lives and preventing them from carrying out their work and earning a livelihood amid persistent dangers at sea.
