HEBRON, August 14, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces on Friday detained a Palestinian child in the village of al-Kum, southwest of Hebron, while Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian residents in the area.

Palestinian security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces detained 14-year-old Mohammad Ziad al-Rajoub from al-Kum while he was at a vehicle repair workshop.

In the al-Buweira area east of Hebron city, Israeli colonists late Thursday night attacked Palestinian homes with stones and fired live ammunition toward them.

Israeli forces subsequently raided the area, searched the homes and detained dozens of citizens, including patients and elderly people, for several hours, subjecting them to mistreatment, according to the sources.
