RAMALLAH, July 9, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestine Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts that the weather on Wednbesday will be hot to very hot, with no significant change in temperatures, remaining approximately 3 degrees Celsius above their annual average. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active, and the sea will be light to medium in wave height. Sea waves will be light to medium.
In the evening and night hours, the weather will be generally clear and pleasant in most areas. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active. Sea waves will be light to medium.
Thursday's weather will be hot to very hot, with temperatures rising to approximately 4 degrees Celsius above their annual average. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active. Sea waves will be light to medium.
Friday and Saturday will see a slightly intensifying heat wave, with temperatures rising to approximately 5 degrees Celsius above their annual average. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly.
The PMD warns against direct exposure to the sun, especially during peak hours (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.), and against lighting fires in areas with dry grass to avoid fires.
