Israeli forces seize vehicle in Nablus- governorate village

NABLUS, February 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Friday seized several vehicles from Yatma village, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to a local source.

Ahmad Snaubar, head of Yatma Village Council, said that the occupation forces barged their way into the village, simultaneously while firing barrages of gunfire and tear gas canisters, triggering confrontations.

He added that the soldiers confiscated several vehicles from the village, purportedly for being unlicensed, at a time when they ordered the closure of local stores.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
