Israeli forces deploy more reinforcements in Tulkarm

TULKARM, February 14, 2025 (WAFA) – As the Israeli large-scale aggression entered its 18th consecutive day, the occupation forces deployed more reinforcements in Tulkarm city and the nearby refugee camps, according to WAFA correspondent.

She said that the occupation forces deployed a convoy of vehicles and four heavy shielded bulldozers in the city and the nearby refugee camps of Tulkarm and Nur Shams.

She added that Israeli patrols also deployed in the streets and neighborhoods, particularly in the vicinity of Shweika and al-Younes circles in the northern neighborhood, where soldiers stopped vehicles, checked passengers’ ID cards, and inspected their belongings.

The occupying forces inflicted extensive damage to civilians’ properties in the eastern neighborhood of the city, forced out families at gunpoint, and turned houses into army outposts, at a time when Israeli bulldozers ploughed into critical infrastructure.

This came as Israeli forces continued to impose a tight army siege on Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps, where soldiers opened gunfire at every moving object.

The army bulldozers caused considerable destruction to infrastructure in all of the camps streets as well as in Nablus Street, including to electricity and water supply networks as well as to civilians’ houses and stores which were partly or completely demolished.

The occupying forces continued to forcibly displace families from their houses in the camps, with such families making their way to accommodation centers on the outskirts of the city and nearby villages.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces continued to seal off the Jabara checkpoint at the southern entrance of the city for the seventh consecutive day, isolating the city from the al-Kafriyyat villages and the rest of the West Bank.
