Israeli forces violently disperse weekly anti-colonial march in Kafr Qaddoum

QALQILYA, February 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Confrontations broke out on Friday evening between Palestinian residents and Israeli forces in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, east of Qalqilya, according to local sources.

Sources reported that the confrontations erupted following the village’s weekly anti-colonial march, during which Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at demonstrators. However, no injuries were reported.

Since July 2011, Kafr Qaddoum has held weekly marches demanding the reopening of the village’s main road, which was closed by Israeli forces following the outbreak of the Second Intifada, as well as protesting Israeli colonial expansion.
