Tubas, 2 February 2025 – Israeli occupation forces continued on Sunday evening their military onslaught on the town of Tammun and the Far'a refugee camp south of Tubas for more than 15 consecutive hours, escalating their military operations throughout the areas.
Since the early moments of the incursion, Israeli bulldozers have been demolishing roads and infrastructure in Tammun and Far'a camp, while also obstructing several secondary routes by placing dirt barriers.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces conducted widespread raids on homes in these areas, forcing several residents to leave their homes, which were then converted into military outposts.
In addition to these measures, Israeli bulldozers destroyed a critical water pipeline between Atoof and Tammun areas, further exacerbating the already dire conditions.
Medical sources confirmed that Israeli occupation forces obstructed Palestinian Red Crescent teams from reaching a patient within Far'a Camp, effectively preventing the transfer of the individual to a hospital in Tubas.
Meanwhile, Kamel Bani Ouda, Director of the Prisoner’s Society (PPS) in Tubas, reported that Israeli forces detained nine Palestinians from Tammun, Tubas and Far'a Camp during the ongoing operation.
Israeli forces continued today to send military reinforcements to the area, with reconnaissance aircraft maintaining a presence in the sky at medium altitude.
In a related development, special Israeli units infiltrated Tubas city, raiding a house before being followed by reinforcements. The forces eventually withdrew from the area.
