GAZA, January 30, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 47,460, the majority of whom are women and children, since the start of the Israeli genocide in October 2023, medical sources announced today.
According to the same sources, the number of injuries has climbed to 111,580, while thousands remain trapped under the rubble as rescue efforts continue to face significant obstacles.
Over the past 24 hours, 43 more casualties were brought to hospitals across Gaza, including one individual who succumbed to their injuries and 42 others whose bodies were recovered from beneath the debris. Additionally, nine injured individuals arrived at medical facilities as a result of the latest Israeli attacks.
Medical teams have warned that many victims remain under collapsed buildings and on the streets, with emergency responders struggling to reach them due to Israeli attacks and destruction of infrastructure.
