QALQILYA, January 30, 2025 (WAFA) - The Israeli occupation forces blew up a house in Qalqilya city at dawn on Thursday.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that the occupation forces blew up a house belonging to the family of the slain Palestinian Jamal Abu Haniya in Qalqilya, consisting of three floors and an area of no less than 100 meters.
The witnesses said that the occupation forces stormed Qalqilya city from its eastern entrance at dawn and deployed on Street "22" in the Islamic College area, and the occupation soldiers began digging operations with heavy machinery near the homes of the slain youths Ali Khalil Abu Bakr and Jamal Abu Haniya.
Later, the demolition concentrated in Abu Haniya's home as the occupation troops forced the citizens living in the area to evacuate their homes until the demolition were completed, then the occupation forces blew up the house completely.
Abu Haniya was killed in August of last year in a bombing operation carried out by the occupation on a vehicle on the Zeita-Atil road north of Tulkarm, which led to the vehicle catching fire, which led to his killing.
He was accompanied by the slain youth Ali Khalil Abu Bakr.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation authorities continue to tighten the military measures, including raids and military checkpoints at the entrances to villages and towns in the governorate, and deliberately obstruct the movement of citizens by stopping their vehicles and searching them thoroughly at the checkpoints at the entrances to the villages of al-Funduq, Amatin, and Nabi Elias.
