Occupation forces uproot dozens of olive trees, demolish retaining walls west of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, January 29, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces uprooted on Wednesday dozens of olive saplings and demolished retaining walls in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem.

Ghassan Elyyan, anti-colonial and wall activist, informed WAFA correspondent that Israeli forces, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed the al-Khamar area southeast of the town and razed four dunums of land, uprooted dozens of olive saplings and demolished retaining walls.

It is worth noting that the Al-Khamar area is facing ongoing colonial attacks by colonists, involving the confiscation of large areas of land and the establishment of colonial outposts.
