JERICHO, January, 29 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities demolished four houses and several walls in the village of Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta, northwest of Jericho.
Thaer Nojoum, a human rights activist in the Jordan Valley, told WAFA that occupation forces, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed the Satih area in Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta, west of Jericho, and prevented press crews from reaching the area.
They further demolished four inhabited houses and several walls. Nojoum pointed out that the demolition operations are still ongoing.
The report of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission monitored that the occupation authorities carried out a total of 684 demolition operations last year, during which they demolished 903 facilities in the West Bank, including the city of Jerusalem, and 4,332 people were affected as a result, including 2,320 children.
