NABLUS, January 26, 2025 (WAFA) – An Israeli drone fired a warning missile today at the Martyrs Cemetery in Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, during the funeral procession of martyr Ahmad Mahmoud Hashash—who was killed by Israeli forces last night.
Local and security sources reported to WAFA that the missile, which was fired by the drone, landed in the cemetery but did not explode. This forced the immediate evacuation of the cemetery as a precautionary measure.
Palestinian bomb disposal units were dispatched to the site to investigate the incident, and they have since issued a warning to the public to avoid the area.
