JORDAN VALLEY, January 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces escalated their restrictions today at the Tayasir and Hamra checkpoints in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces obstructed the passage of Palestinian vehicles through the checkpoints, leading to long queues of cars and significant delays.

For the past year and a half, these checkpoints have been sites of heightened military restrictions on Palestinian movement. However, over the past week, the measures have intensified, causing hundreds of vehicles to remain stuck daily.

The tightened restrictions have disrupted daily life for Palestinian commuters in the region, exacerbating already difficult living conditions.
