BETHLEHEM, January 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces imposed closures on multiple towns and villages in the Salfit and Bethlehem governorates in the occupied West Bank, severely disrupting movement and daily life for Palestinians.

In Salfit, local sources reported that a military checkpoint was erected near the entrance of Qarawat Bani Hassan, leading to heavy traffic congestion.

Additionally, the entrances to the town of Salfit and the villages of Bruqin, Kifl Haris, Deir Istiya, and Kafr ad-Dik were blocked with metal gates, restricting access.

Meanwhile, in Bethlehem, Israeli occupation forces closed the main entrance to the village of Al-Manshiyah late last night by locking its iron gate. This closure effectively cuts off the only route connecting residents of southern rural areas to Bethlehem city, a critical hub for services and commerce.

These closures have further restricted Palestinian movement and disrupted access to essential services, intensifying the hardships faced by affected communities.
