JENIN, January 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed on Friday night the town of Meithalun southeast of Jenin, where they surrounded a house and launched a drone strike targeting a site near the besieged residence.

Special Israeli forces stormed the town, followed by military reinforcements, and proceeded to besiege a home, sparking confrontations with local residents. According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli forces forced civilians to leave homes located near the besieged house.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that Israeli forces banned its medical teams’ access to the targeted site.

The ongoing Israeli aggression continues to target the Jenin Governorate, with heavy military operations in the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, as well as in neighboring villages and towns, including Burqin, Qabatiya, Meithalun and Silat al-Harithiya.

Earlier tonight, Israeli occupation forces surrounded a house in the Silat al-Harithiya town west of Jenin and ordered the occupants to come out via loudspeakers.

Israeli aggression on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp has continued for the fourth consecutive day, resulting in the killing of 14 Palestinians and the injury of dozens more. The relentless aggression has caused widespread destruction to the area's infrastructure.
