HEBRON, January 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces issued a punitive demolition order on Thursday evening for a house in the city of Hebron, raided a home and warehouses, and detained Palestinian residents in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.
According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli forces stormed the city of Hebron and delivered a demolition notice for the home of Ahmad Abdel Fattah Al-Haimouni, a 25-year-old detainee in Israeli jails, located in the Al-Haimouni neighborhood near Hebron University.
The detainee’s father told WAFA that the notice, affixed to the door of their home, targets their second-floor apartment, which is part of a three-story building and spans approximately 220 square meters. The demolition is part of Israel's punitive policy against families of alleged attackers.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces raided the village of At-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron, where they stormed the home and warehouses of resident Yahya Basil. The soldiers searched and vandalized the properties.
During the raid in Masafer Yatta, two Palestinians were detained and held for several hours before being released.
