HEBRON, January 23, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian young man sustained serious injuries today after being shot by Israeli occupation forces during a raid in the town of Halhul, located north of Hebron.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli troops stormed the town, spreading throughout its streets and the main roads while surrounding local homes. During the assault, the forces intentionally caused damage to vehicles and property.

Confrontations erupted between the soldiers and local youth, during which Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters. 

During the confrontations, an 18-year-old Palestinian was struck by live gunfire in the thigh and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. His condition is currently reported as critical.
