HEBRON, January 22, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman has died after the Israeli occupation army prevented her from being transported to the hospital at the Beit Einun checkpoint, northeast of Hebron, on Tuesday evening, as she was suffering from symptoms of a heart attack, according to the Ministry of Health.
The ministry said that Iman Mohammad Jaradat, 45, from the town of Sa'ir died as a result of the occupation forces' obstructing her transport to the hospital.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces have been tightening the military measures for the third consecutive day at most of the entrances and exits of the governorates in the West Bank, where hundreds of vehicles are lined up in long queues, waiting to be allowed to pass.
In an updated statistic by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the number of Israeli military checkpoints and gates in the West Bank has risen to 898, and there are more than 173 iron gates that have been placed since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, including 17 since the beginning of this year.
