CAIRO, Wednesday, August 28, 2024 (WAFA) - The Arab Parliament condemned on Wednesday the Israeli occupation aggression in the West Bank, which resulted in a number of killed and wounded Palestinians, and the destruction of a number of infrastructure facilities, considering it a blatant challenge to international legitimacy resolutions, international law and international humanitarian law.

The parliament said in a statement that this escalation by the occupation and its colonists in the cities of the West Bank, in parallel with the war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, and the violations against Islamic and Christian sanctities in the city of Jerusalem, will fuel the conflict and increase tension in the region, holding the Israeli occupation government fully responsible.

It also called on the international community and the United Nations to pressure Israel to stop all forms of its aggression and escalation, and the necessity of providing an effective international protection system for the Palestinian people and their capabilities, and forcing the Israeli occupation to immediately and permanently cease fire.
