RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 5, 2023 (WAFA) - The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine reached 114.68 during August 2023 with an increase of 4.98% compared to July 2023.

IPI for August 2023 increased due to the increase in the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam, and Air Conditioning Supply by 14.18%, which had a share of 7.38% of the total industry, and the activities of the Manufacturing Industry by 5.16%, which had a share of 87.89% of the total industry.

The activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management, and Remediation decreased by 23.54%, which had a share of 1.84% of the total industry, and the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 10.95%, which had a share of 2.89% of the total industry.
