RAMALLAH, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 (WAFA) - The overall Wholesale Price Index (WPI) in Palestine during the second quarter of 2023 decreased by 1.23% compared with the first quarter of the same year, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
The decrease was by 1.73% for imported products, while the price of local products increased by 0.15%.
The changes in WPI for the second quarter of 2023 were traced back to changes in prices of the following divisions and categories compared with the previous quarter:
