BETHLEHEM, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces today demolished several structures in the town of al-Khader, to the south of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to a local official.
The town mayor, Ibrahim Musa, told WAFA that Israeli forces raided the town and demolished two sheds and an agricultural room belonging to a Palestinian family under the pretext they were built without a construction license.
Following the demolition, confrontations broke out between Palestinian youths and the Israeli forces, during which the soldiers fired tear gas canisters and sound bombs toward the youth, he added.
No casualties were reported, however.
